Course Description: This course builds on the previous course and provides greater depth and more complex concepts and the skills/knowledge to master these concepts. Students will be provided opportunities to extend their skills with various software applications by creating more complex documents and using more complex functions. Students will also be exposed to structured programming and the creation of a more complex computer program.
Late work will only be accepted in the grading period in which it was assigned.
Grading periods are divided into four quarters. Within each quarter, a progress report will be issued midway. Work assigned before that progress report will not be accepted after the report card is sent home. The same goes for any official report card.
If accepted, ALL late work is due to the teacher no more than a week before report card grades are due.
All late work is eligible for a maximum score of 60%. Work may be deemed unacceptable (and thus still missing) if it is incomplete or does not meet expectations.
